Dr Lawrence Okidi (PhD) has a decade of experience in research and programme/intervention design and implementation owing to his regular technical engagement in supporting several Non-governmental Organisations, Faith Based Organisations, and Intergovernmental Organisations. His areas of support rendered to the aforementioned developmental Organisations broadly include but not limited to the design, baseline assessment, implementation and impact evaluation of; agriculturally based, food security, agro- processing, post-harvest handling, food safety, community nutrition, economic empowerment and other livelihoods related interventions.
Lawrence Okidi works as a Part-Time Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Food Science and Postharvest Technology of Gulu University. In addition to his PhD, Lawrence also holds a MSc. in Food Security and Community Nutrition and a Bachelor Degree in Agriculture from Gulu University, Uganda and he is currently a Doctoral candidate in Food Science at Egerton University in Kenya.
