Project studies
Capacity Beyond believes in the power of evidence. We undertake studies that make it possible for various institutions and individuals to know which actual needs exist and the actual situation of past or ongoing initiatives. Through these, our clients can choose the best options and ideas in project design, implementation and monitoring as a basis for ensuring that initiatives which are truly needed are chosen, and implemented in the most effective, efficient and sustainable way. We achieve this through;
- Baseline Studies
- Evaluation Studies (mid-term and at the end of project)
- Environmental Impact Assessment studies
- Impact and Case Studies
- Writing Impactful Publications
- Feasibility studies
Academic Research Mentorship Program
Capacity Beyond has a consortium of highly experienced research consultants (holders and candidates of PhD programs) in different fields including; Agriculture, Public health, Statistics, Humanities, and Social Sciences among others. The several years’ cumulative experience amassed by the team members include; guiding more numerous postgraduate
and undergraduate students to timely completion of their studies and publications in peer reviewed international journals. The company also occasionally co-opts other experts where the specific research requires highly specialised technical expertise beyond the current capacities within the consortium research team, leading to the delivery of quality and hands on experience for the researcher. Jointly, the team members also focus on building the capacity of its clients during the research process so that they can conceptualize, design, conduct and report a study or competently perform a similar study in the future with less external assistance. We consider this as an attribute that is essential for the researchers beyond their postgraduate or undergraduate studies. We don’t do research for the researcher but provide mentorship in;
- Research ideation from literature or observations,
- Proposal development,
- Data collection and analysis,
- Modelling
- Logical presentation of results,
- Critical discussion of the findings,
- Writing scientific publications
- Developing policy briefs
