Dr. Lawrence Okidi (PhD)

Dr. Lawrence Okidi is a seasoned researcher and development practitioner with over a decade of experience in research, programme design, and implementation. He has provided technical support to a wide range of organisations, including Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), Faith-Based Organisations, and Intergovernmental Institutions.
His expertise spans the design, baseline assessment, implementation, and impact evaluation of interventions in agriculture, food security, agro-processing, post-harvest handling, food safety, community nutrition, economic empowerment, and other livelihood-focused areas.
In academia, Dr. Okidi serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Food Science and Postharvest Technology at Gulu University. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from Egerton University, a Master’s degree in Food Security and Community Nutrition, and a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, both from Gulu University.

At Capacity Beyond Ltd, Dr. Okidi leads the Research Division as Director, overseeing all project-related studies including baselines, evaluations, and feasibility assessments.
